A full batch of six 30-meter ISUZU hydraulic aerial platform trucks has been successfully completed and shipped to Russia this week, marking another major bulk export order of Chinese-manufactured special engineering vehicles for the Russian municipal and construction industry.
Customized to adapt to Russia’s complex local road conditions and cold climatic operating environment, these 30m aerial lift trucks adopt the mature ISUZU commercial truck chassis, which features stable power output, strong low-temperature resistance and excellent cross-country driving performance. Equipped with a full hydraulic telescopic boom system, the vehicles reach a maximum working height of 30 meters and a maximum horizontal working radius of 16 meters. The insulated working bucket supports multi-angle stable operation, fully meeting high-standard safety operation specifications for high-altitude work.
According to the project sales manager of the exporting special vehicle manufacturer, this batch of aerial platform vehicles was tailor-made for a leading Russian municipal engineering service contractor. After three months of technical negotiation, parameter confirmation and factory inspection, all six units passed Russian local customs commodity inspection and EAC certification, complying with Russia’s national technical regulations for road special vehicles.
“Russia has huge market demand for reliable high-altitude operation equipment for urban infrastructure maintenance," the manager introduced. “These ISUZU aerial platform trucks will be mainly deployed in major cities across western Russia, undertaking street lamp maintenance, overhead power line inspection, building exterior wall construction, traffic sign installation and urban emergency rescue missions."
Compared with ordinary aerial work equipment, this customized 30-meter ISUZU model is optimized for low-temperature working scenarios. Core hydraulic components and electrical control systems are equipped with anti-freezing and heat preservation devices, which can work stably in low temperature environments of minus 30 degrees Celsius, perfectly adapting to Russia’s long cold winter climate. In addition, the whole vehicle supports wireless remote control operation and intelligent load limit protection, which greatly improves construction safety and on-site working efficiency.
Industry insiders commented that this bulk export cooperation further consolidates the trade partnership between Chinese special vehicle manufacturers and Russian engineering equipment purchasers. With reliable chassis quality, cost-effective configuration and targeted cold-region customization, ISUZU-based special aerial vehicles have gained growing market recognition in Russia’s municipal engineering, energy and construction fields in recent two years.
The exporter revealed that more customized ISUZU special vehicle orders, including aerial platform trucks and light-duty engineering cranes for the Russian market, are scheduled for production and shipment in the third quarter of 2026.
